Maui - The Magic Island in Hawaii

Nicknamed “The Magic Isle,” Maui is the second largest Hawaiian island. Maui is popular with visitors who are looking for sophisticated diversions and amenities in the small, intimate towns peppered throughout the island. Maui has many historical places of interest and it unique vistas makes it a much anticipated destination. On the west shore are located the most popular beaches. These include Ka'anapali Beach and Kapalua. Ho'okipa Beach Park on the east shore is a world-famous spot for surfing and windsurfing. The historic town of Lahaina is well worth a visit for its resorts, museums and cultural activities.

When you are visiting Maui, do visit the two dormant volcanoes: Haleakala, the world's largest, in Haleakal National Park and Puu Kukui. A beautiful valley with pineapple and sugar cane fields lies between them. Maui offers several adventures, one of the most spectacular is watching the sunrise from the top of Haleakala summit and then biking down 38 mi (61 km) of winding road to sea level.
